Migrants and refugees

One of the most moving books that has been recently published that captures the drama of any displaced, deeply traumatized person is “The Beekeeper of Aleppo” by C. Lefteri who spent some time volunteering in a refugee camp in Greece at the pinnacle of the crisis.

Task 1

Read some background information about the author and fill in the gaps with the correct verb forms/tenses.
